intresting bit of info but i find it hard to believe that this story has stayed a secret for all these years.
elvislady;)
Byron Raphael is a liar.
Marty Lacker on AEK:
From what I heard, Byron has cancer and he needs money. I guess bad enough
to make some more shit up. According to those who were there with Elvis
back then no such thing happened. Just like his story about him (Byron)
screwing Natalie Wood in front of Elvis.

It would be funny if it weren't so easy to disprove, like shooting fish in a barrel. The guy hung himself by saying Marilyn roomed with Shelley Winters at the time and didn't want Shelley to know what she was doing.
Those ****************ed facts are so inconvenient:
1) Marilyn and Shelley roomed together very briefly early in their careers, but by 1956 both were established stars. By then Marilyn had already starred in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, How to Marry a Millionaire, River of No Return, There's No Business Like Show Business, and The Seven-Year Itch, not to mention earlier pictures like Asphalt Jungle, Monkey Business, Don't Bother to Knock, and Niagara. By 1955, Shirley had 47 films and an Oscar nomination under her belt.
2) Shelley wasn't even living in Hollywood in 1956 but living in New York City, where she was performing A Hatful of Rain on Broadway.
3) There was only a 3-month window in 1956 that Marilyn was in California. She had been living in New York until the end of February and returned to New York in May - and she married playwright Arthur Miller in June, 1956.
4) Elvis was in California just THREE DAYS during the 3-month window when Marilyn was in California. Elvis flew in on March 25 for a 3-day screen test that began March 26, and flew back to Memphis via Texas on the 28th.
5) Anybody remotely aware of Elvis' personal habits knows that it would be most out of character for him to emerge from the room naked in front of another man.
5) Marilyn was 5'5 1/2", hardly too tall for Elvis, who thought that Priscilla was too short.
My best guess is that the old fokker, this agent, if the story was even from him, is simply senile. There is no other explanation other than sheer chicanery.

Today there was a short notification about this topic on a program here in Holland called: RTL Boulevard. I had to laugh loud when I listened to this nonsense. Luckely they didn't pay much attention to it. It's good to know the facts mentioned, so this fanta-story can be put next to the others.

Sorry, but I don't belive in this story!!
I don't think at that time Elvis could be interested in Marylin that was 10 years older than him. :hmm:

I liked the piece on RTL boulevard (the videos that they used). It isn't really bad publicity.... But it doesn't sound very Elvis-like to me. And the points that Maurice gave also makes this story hard to believe......

I have little doubt that it isn't true, almost every second of Marylins life has been outed the last 30 years by anyone that ever even walked by her. She's been written about as much as Elvis himself, if it happened someone would have spilled the beans long before 2006.
That said the Elvis, Marylin, James Dean etc fantasy meetings have been the subject of some great paintings over the years that are just cool to sit back and think, What if.......

Dark haired girls like Anita Wood and Linda Thompson? ;-)
But yes, the story is total nonsense.

Pure Fantasy I know, but just imagine the movie, "Elvis, Marilyn, and James Dean".
Elvis and Marilyn singing beautiful duets such as "True Love" etc, with James looking on trying to decide......................................
which car to drive:-)
I agree about the great paintings and sketches appearing all over the place featuring those three legends.

If im not mistaken the author of this story is the same guy who was in Playboy magazine several months ago.He had some outrageous stories that just didnt make any sense.I wouldnt put any value whatsoever on his claims.By the way i only got the Playboy magazine for the Elvis article:D

Sure you did Jak:D :D :D I don't give any credence to this article either. I doubt very strongly that if Elvis and Marilyn had gotten together that it wouldn't have leaked out somehow and been big news in no time.

I agree with you, Diane! :) It's funny how so many stories are coming out nearly 30 years after Elvis passed on...As you mentioned, why didn't these stories come out earlier...I don't believe a word of it! (n)

Elvis bedded Marilyn update: Following our story yesterday, Marty Lacker sent us this message:
Elvis didn't move into the Beverly Wilshire until '57 not '56. According to Elvis himself when one of the new guys asked himself he ever met Marilyn his answer was No. I was sitting there when he said that as were some of the other guys. He also said she wasn't his type. Raphael also said she was living with Shelley Winters at the time, then says she was married to Arthur Miller.
I may be wrong but from what I have read in the past and from interviews I've seen with Shelley, she and Marilyn lived together only when they first went to Hollywood and if I am not mistaken that is long before she was married to Miller. That story is about true as Raphael saying he had sex with Natalie Wood in front of Elvis because Elvis didn't want to have anything to do with her. Elvis and Natalie dated and she even visited him in Memphis back then. He also said he introduced Natalie to Elvis when in fact Nick Adams did. Will this crap ever end? (News, Source: Marty Lacker)

Any how.....i wished it was true, because i love Marilyn and i love Elvis. The both of them together would be a perfect match ...... not to mention their children. Too bad that such a weird and creepy story hits the newspapers WORLDWIDE !!! :hmm: I says everything about the greatness of both of them.

Ok, Marilyn was 10 years older, but she was beautiful! Age doesn-t matter ...And I don't believe the story either.
