I didn't know where to put this so I'll ask here......
Where is the best place to try to locate a copy of this mammoth book?
Amazon venders have a couple, for IMO insane prices. Too much for me to be interested.

I've looked continuously for it the past few days on Ebay and haven't seen hide nor hair of an auction for the book....*sigh*

I finally located a copy since I originally posted 'bout where to find one. It is a hard read and also confusing at times but (at least to me) it gives an interesting picture of what happened before/during/after August 16, 1977.

Would someone be kind enough to give me a quick synopsis of this book. This is one I've not heard anything about until today.

I'm not good at giving 'full-on' reviews but basically I thought the book was well-written, although there are some typing errors in there. The book, as mentioned in a previous post by me, can and is confuzing at some pints (especially during the latter chapters) but overall I think it gives a pretty close description of what happened before and during and after 8/16/77.

Mike,
If I'm not mistaken, there has already been a re-release of the book. Not sure if it's any different from the original 1994 printing, though.

Tony, I trust your opinion. Does this book say anything new that we don't already know since Peter Guanrlick's books??

It really just goes into much more detail surrounding the events of 8/16/77 such as the night before/day of/weeks after Elvis's death including who took the infamous 'casket photo' and such (although, how much is actually factual is debateable because Dick is known for exaggerating things).

I wish I'd waited....I paid nearly $82.00 for my copy of the book...but it's well worth it!!

Then that's all that matters, most good quality books are expensive but there are MANY that are way overpriced.
