if elvisis twin had lived

I often wonder what path elvisis life would have took if his twin brother jessie would have lived. would his mother still have been very protctive of him and his brother i know most parents are of there kids but i have a twin and we shared lots of things together and i just wonderd what his life would have turned out like.

It's hard to visualize two Elvis' - wow! They weren't identical twins anyway though but maybe they would both have had similar voices and sang as a duet. I think Gladys would have been just as protective if she had had the two.

Humm!!double the pleasure,double the fan!I think Elvis missed having a brother or sister.He said once that he wanted kids because he grew up alone.
I have two sisters and I can not picture this world without them.It would have being wonderful if Jessie had lived,but such is life,so thank you God for giving us Elvis!

I've just read a book about Elvis and I was surprised to read that Elvis often had dreams about his twin brother.

In one of these dreams they both were on stage, performing together with flashing clothes!

When Elvis told this dream to a friend he said Jessie had a more beautiful voice.....:P

I think his life would have been different with the presence of Jessie..I really don't know if he would have become ELVIS PRESLEY but I can't imagine "2 Elvis" :king: :king: ...they could have become a

beautiful duet and now we would be here to write.."I prefer Elvis....no Jessie is a lot better" :laughing:

i have read that story to that elvis used to dream about his brother. it must be difficult to find out that you used to have a twin but he died at birth. i know if anything would have happend to my sister at birth i would be thinking of her every day.

I think Elvis' life would have taken a completely different direction. One of the main reasons we grow up to have the personality etc that we do is from our background and how we are brought up, Glady's would have treated Elvis differently if Jessie had lived, something we will never know,all i know is it played on Elvis' mind constantly,bless him.

well, this is certainly a good question..maybe Jesse wouldn't be a singer at all, he might choose a completely different path and ,as usually twins have very different personalities, he might have helped Elvis having more balance and confidence.....
If I think of an another Elvis, I mean a twin with the same look..well, it would have sure been weird!!!
