 i only have e.p collection 1, but i was wondering what is the preferenence of other fans

to tell the truth  the real reason i posted this thread was to say that when i was younger i wanted to collect EVERYTHING elvis released, but i could never get my hands on ep collection 2.now im a bit older and a lot more sick of being exploited by bmg/rca i tend to get the elvis releases i think i really need

p.s so does that mean the e.p collection 2 , is rarer than e.p 1:hmm:

sorry for rambling;)

Hey Geordie,
I used to have BOTH the e.p. collections about 12 years ago, if it is the same ones as yours then there will be about 10 7" singles in picture sleeves in both sets. One of them came in a black casing with gold writing on the front and the other came in a white case with gold writing (owing to old age I can't remember which is which  ,lol), I fell on slightly hard times back then and I sold both for about ?50 each back then. You will have quite a job trying to locate the other set you're after but it would make a nice addition to the one you already have. Prices for it start about ?35 up, but they are BOTH DELETED NOW. so you would'nt be lining b.m.g./r.c.a. pockets but a dealers instead, check out the record section on ebay one surfaces there from time to time, hope this helps you out, cheers mate, rickster.

I voted for EP 1. I have both EP sets. Can't remember how much I paid for them when they were released the first time. RCA did think about a 3rd EP set but it did not get released. I thought they used the USA catologue because the 2nd set had 3 A Touch of Gold series. The UK had 2 A Touch of Gold EP's originally.
