After seeing the tracklisting for the new ?Elvis Chante Leiber And Stoller? CD I?ve listed where (if not Unreleased) the tracks can already be found. Until I actually hear the CD, not all of the information can be confirmed.

CD1

Hound Dog

Love Me

Hot Dog

Loving You

Jailhouse Rock

I Want To Be Free

(You're So Square) Baby I Don't Care

Treat Me Nice

Don't, Santa Claus Is Back In Town

Trouble

King Creole

Steadfast, Loyal And True

Dirty, Dirty Feeling

Just Tell Her Jim Said Hello

She's Not You

Girls! Girls! Girls!

Bossa Nova Baby

You're The Boss

Little Egypt

Fools Fall In Love

Saved

If You Don't Come Back

Three Corn Patches

I would assume these are all ?Regular? Masters as already officially released.

Jailhouse Rock (stereo master)

The Stereo (Binaural) Master can be found on Close Up. The Master has always been said to be Take 6, but on Close Up it says the Master is spliced from the last verse, but doesn?t say which takes.

I Want To Be Free (record master)

Take 11 of the Record Version (2010) can be found on ?Close Up? in Binaural. The composite Master is spliced from Take 5 of 2012 and (possibly) Take 2 of 2011, along with Take 11 of 2010. I?m not sure if this will be the Spliced Master or just the same take as on ?Close Up?.

Steadfast, Loyal And True (undubbed version)

This (Solo) version can be found on Today Tomorrow & Forever in Mono.

Alternative tracks:

Loving You (main version - take 1)

This (Fast) take (Complete) can be found on ?Essential Elvis Vol 1? in Mono, but Binaural tapes have now been found of this session.

Loving You (Farm version - take 1)

This (Slow) take (Complete) can be found on ?Essential Elvis Vol 1? in Mono

Treat Me Nice (First movie version - take 19)(2003)

This take can be found on ?Close Up? in Binaural.

Treat Me Nice (takes 10,13)

Assuming this is 2008, Take 10 which was used for the Spliced Master, is Unreleased. Take 13, which was also used for the Spliced Master, can be found on ?Close Up? in Binaural, along with Take 12 (FS). Take 13 is also listed again on CD2.

I Want To Be Free (movie version - take 12)

Assuming this is 2009, this take is listed later on CD2?

Loving You (Main version - take 3)

This (Fast) take (Complete) was released on the French CD ?La Legende? in Mono, but Binaural tapes have now been found of this session.

Loving You (Farm version - take 6)

This (Slow) take (Complete) is unreleased officially, but can be found on the bootleg ??Loving You Recording Sessions?.

King Creole (take 8 - instrumental)

This instrumental (Track R) can be found on the upgraded ?King Creole? CD as well as ?Essential Elvis Vol 3? but they were from acetate sources. Maybe new source tapes have now been found (Binaural?).

CD 2

Loving You (Main version - takes 5,8)

Both of these (Fast) takes are complete. Take 5 can be found on ?Close Up? in Binaural, and Take 8 can be found on ?Essential Elvis Vol 1? in Mono.

Loving You (Farm version - take 10)

This (Slow) take can be found on ?Essential Elvis Vol 1? in Mono, and is complete.

Jailhouse Rock (takes 5,6)

Take 5 can be found on FTD?s ?Silver Screen Stereo? in Binaural. The Master has always been listed as Take 6, but now we know the Master is spliced. This may be complete Take 6 unedited.

Treat Me Nice (takes 6,13)

Assuming this is 2008, Take 6 can be found on ?Today Tomorrow & Forever? in Mono. Take 13 is also listed on CD1.

I Want To Be Free (takes 3,4,10,12,13)

Assuming this is the ?Prison TV Version? (2009), we?ve had the following: - Takes 2 & 3 (Spliced with Take 5) were released on ?Today Tomorrow & Forever? in Mono. I would assume these two takes are incomplete. Take 10 (Used for Spliced Master) is a complete take and was on ?Flashback? in Binaural. Takes 12 & 13 (Also used for Spliced Master) are both complete takes and are Unreleased.

Baby I Don't Care (take 1)

Assuming this is 2015, this can be found on ?Close Up? in Binaural.

Loving You (main version - takes 13,15)(Fast)

Take 13 (Complete) can be found in Mono on the ?50?s Box? CD5, but was faded on that release. Take 15 (Complete) in Binaural, can be found on ?Close Up?.

Loving You (Farm version - take 12)

This (Slow) Take 12 can be found on the ?50?s Box? CD5 in Mono.

King Creole (takes 3,18)(Track E)

These two complete takes can be found in Mono on the upgraded ?King Creole? CD as well as ?Essential Elvis Vol 3? but they were from acetate sources. Maybe new source tapes have now been found (Binaural?).

Steadfast, Loyal And True (take 6)

Take 6 is listed as the Master, and be found on the upgraded ?King Creole? CD as well as ?Essential Elvis Vol 3? but it was from an acetate source. Maybe new source tapes have now been found (Binaural?).

Just Tell Her Jim Said Hello (takes 1,4)

Take 1 (Complete) can be found on ?Collectors Gold?, and Take 4 (Complete) can be found on ?Close Up?.

She's Not You (take 2)

This take (FS & Complete) is Unreleased officially, but can be found on the bootlegs ?There?s Always Me? and ?Anything That?s Pert Of You (Memory)?.

Girls! Girls! Girls! (Take 15)

I would assume this is the complete Take 15 of the ?End Title? version, which was used for the Spliced Master along with Take 6 of ?Dainty Little Moonbeams?.

Bossa Nova Baby (take 2)

This take can be found on ?Platinum?, and more recently on the FTD ?Soundtrack? of ?Fun In Acapulco?.

You're The Boss (takes 3,16)

I assume this is the Alternate Master, which is spliced from take 16 & the ending of Take 3, as released on the official ?Leiber And Stoller? CD.

Little Egypt (take 21)

This can be found on the (Time Life) ?Movie Magic? release as well as FTD?s ?Out In Hollywood?

If You Don't Come Back (take 3)

This can be found on ?Essential Elvis Vol 5?.

Three Corn Patches (take 14)

This can be found on ?Essential Elvis Vol 5?.

Loving You (Main version - takes 20,21)

These two (Fast) takes (Take 20 = FS & 21 = Complete) can be found in Mono on ?Essential Elvis Vol 1?, but Binaural tapes have now been found of this session.

Little Egypt (take unknown)

Trouble (take unknown & 21)

Saved (take 6)

The last three tracks could be from the ??68 Comeback? tapings.

Once again a comprehensive....and extremely helpful list there Keith

Thanks for posting it.

I only hope the artwork on this set is as nice as the previous two...they were exceptional. (y) Why can't all divisions of BMG take that sort of pride in the main man ?
