what's up guys

This has fascinated me for years.
I've heard/read from a number of sources that there is a good deal more footage (unseen) from the CBS Special, including the "pool footage" from July '77.

The footage is said to show Elvis being interviewed by the pool at Graceland by CBS and that Lisa Marie is there with him. He's playing with her during the interview and then throws her in the pool!

Now, I do know that CBS did in fact go to Graceland in July '77 and some of that footage appears in the special (Vernon mostly)

I'm inclined to believe any footage that exists is under lock and key by EPE.
Does anyone have any information about this and possibly about the "unseen" footage shot for the CBS Special?

Hard to say about that footage. Most people that are serious collector's doubt it exists or that it ever happened.Seems like a bit or piece of it would have leaked when the outtakes came out.

That would be great to see.

There is so much that makes me sad when I think about Elvis in 19aa.

I just hope he and his daughter really had a good time when she was visiting.

At least he had that and she will have the memory forever to keep in her hearth.

I wish that footage exists and we will be able to see and witness it one day.

I doubt that Elvis was filmed at home by the CBS crew. I guess the tv producers had the grounds filmed and an interview with Vernon, but nothing of our man himself. It would be great to see what you have discribed, but I simply doubt that there is any truth in it...

Yeah, that would be great to see it if it exists. By the way I'd also like to see the 1974 Los Angeles evening concert which was proffessionally recorded entirely. Does anyone have any reliable information about that? What if BMG released it in the future? How would the DVD cover look like? Imagine that fuss around it!

mozzarella, this is what I found:

Unfortunately, this is Amateur footage, not proffessionally record

And VСD is called: CALIFORNIA GOLD features footage from the two concerts held in Los Angeles, (May 11, 1974 Mat) (25'00") and (May 11, 1974 Eve) (6'08").

Bud this Amateur footage in Good Quality!

I would find it hard to believe that Elvis was interviewed at Graceland but I certainly wish it were true and turns out to be the case.
