I just got this cd and must it's a (audio-wise) a fantastic release by the madison people, all tracks are in a high audio quality, sounding even better than the same tracks that are put on cd by BMG. This cd will get on the top position of the import top 40 very soon i think, it's just that good. The only thing you can complain about is the total playing time, wich is a bit short. But the quality of this release makes up for that, we can only hope that there is gonna be a vol.2 very soon with more of this high quality sound. The tracks a very well chosen, so you can't go wrong with that. The artwork is pretty awesome also, all songs are covered in the booklet with linernotes and pictures. I think this kind of compilations is the thing SONY/BMG should go for....or at least put this kind of albums on the FTD label, with the remastering at the sony studios by Kevan Budd. If this guy can work on the Elvis Presley album (elvis 1st album) that is released as a 7" deluxe release on the FTD label...why not let him work on all FTD releases? so we get the best audio quality possible...we pay a good deal of money for those FTD releases, so we should get the best thing possible!
But to get back to the madison release...
If you come across this great album, don't let it stay on the shelves, just buy it! you won't be sorry, it could easily fitt next to the -30 #1 hits- soundwise.
Great job madison guys!!

I agree with the outstanding artwork. Madison really keeps living up to the high expectation. FTD/BMG and all import labels can learn a lot from the devotion of the Madison team to come up with new designs.
The soundquality is indeed very good. Finally, it was about time that a Madison release had good quality.
The compilation is very nice, with some fantastic tracks. A shame though that in fact we only get 10 songs (with multiple takes). Some more wouldn't have hurt.
Conclusion: I don't believe this one is essential or a must-have. It's fun to hear once or twice (or perhaps a few times more), but the short playtime and the few songs we get makes this cd only interesting for collectors with 20-25 euro too much in their pocket.
