Is this cd worth buying? They told me that this is the same show as the CBS special, is that true?

No, not exactly...

Parts of this show were used for "Elvis The Concert", but most of it wasn't used.

The sound quality of this one however isn't that great. It would "give" you more of Charlie Hodge at some points as it would Elvis.

But, if you care for the complete "In Concert" shows, this could be just the one...

But remember that "Elvis In Concert" was compiled of both the Rapid City show and the Omaha show. Most of the material used (edited in an enormous way) was taken from Rapid City.

I have got this cd. Don't sound to me like it is a soundboard recording (but it is) I though it was an ok cd not that great of a performance but overall it was o.k.

Well, i bought this cd to. The sound is very poor, and the song "i realy don't wonna know" is the worst i ever heard, in contrast to How great thou art, Elvis performed this song quit well.:D

I Have This One As Well The Sound In The First Have Of The Cd Is Poor However It Is The Complete Show And The Second Half Is Better Sounding And It Is A Soundboard
