I've never brought something that Elvis owned, i'd have to win the lottery first
but as far as autographs go, i usually do a regular check on eBay, you can't
alway's tell if your getting ripped off or not, but the truly authentic ones should come with a certificate of authenticity (y)

graceland123, here's a link I found that offers tips to buy authentic Elvis memorabilia, such as an autograph or collectible... http://www.elvispresleynews.com/ElvisAutographs.html and here's the email address for the Help Desk frydman@netspace.net.au
Hope this helps!

Nice site. I don't care for the Linda Thompson "deep red" era look at all. Makes my head hurt.

I don't dislike red, but that was IMO over powering . I like a little more traditional look for a house then Bold red everywhere you look. I kinda like the photos I've seen of how it looked in every other era. Just my personal tastes .

So hows the search going Graceland123, Any prospects in your price range ? There were a couple of things I liked but its out of my price range.

Is it me but the prices dont seem expensive enough considering elvis owned them
I wonder if they`re as genuine as they seem.

I think its that most of them are like B level artifacts , and not really the things that had great sentimental value to him . Some of them are pretty pricey for me like say a 16 thousand dollar rifle, thats probably a 600 dollar gun but since he owned it its 16 thousand.

I don't know what the DEA badge went for but that seems like something Graceland / EPE should have bought back (if they didn't) since its a item that is identified with Elvis because he went to Nixon to get it.

I've been sort of on the look out for items. Not too seriously though. I have a Syd Barrett / Pink Floyd '67 collection that I am framing and going to sell first and then, maybe, I'll have the money to buy an Elvis owned item. Hopefully Johnny Depp will do that movie he wants to do on Syd then my collection will go up in value. :D I hope!!!
Anyway, some seems a bit pricey, so I probably won't be able to get the more famous or personal stuff. For instance, a couple of times I saw on ebay a TCB ring that supposadley is the one that Larry Gellar saw Elvis chunk into the audience in Vegas starting bid at $60,000.00. W-a-a-a-a-a--ay too rich for my blood!
