Interviews etc of Priscilla.
In the kings ransom clip something is quite apparent and that is that Priscilla is a businesswoman and Elvis is her product.
She said that she never keeps photos of Elvis on display because it gets in the way and she doesn`t want her son to be reminded of her life with Elvis but what about the tv shows last year when she was plugging her book etc which is filled with pictures of her and Elvis.
She is happy to keep herself publicly connected to Elvis but yet privately she doesn`t want any reminders of him.

I'm not a fan of Plastic Prizzy, but I can understand that. If my mother or wife would keep pictures of her former husband all around, it would be strange. I wouldn't like it, even if it was Elvis Presley.

I totally agree with you...anyway, I don't like her and her behaviour after Elvis' death. She's always been very contradictory; she always acts and speaks as a widow....and we can see it also in the last "Elvis By The Presleys". Why doesn't she has the same reservation and sensibility when she appears on tv or makes new "products"?She's not the only woman Elvis met in his life...yes, they got married but they also divorced...to me she still remains a big hypocrite because she should show her respect for her new family not only privately but also in public. This is my personal opinion....(n)

I`ve always wondered how the boyfriend puts up with it all but I now realise its all a business to them and he has earned very well from it as well.

Silly Cilla is a wolf-in-sheep's-clothing.
In "Elvis By The Beaulieu's" ......... she is wearing her Weeping-Widow costume.
In private, ........... she reverts back to her plastic silicone costume.
She is also in good company as a Premium Member of The Greed Club --------> which has a very, very large membership, .............. in The EP World.

If some of you are interested in "the other story" I would strongly recommend the book "Child Bride", written about Priscilla instead of by her. Although I'm aware of the fact that also that book will contain flaws it brings the picture more in perspective.

Thanks Leroy,
I have been reading a lot of books on Elvis lately but I have not read "Child Bride" (cilla) yet so I guess that one will be on my list next.
Right now I am reading Elvis By Albert Goldman and I have to admit that it really made me mad at first... the only way I can read this book is to pretend that it is a comic book (and a funny one at that... the guy is really a jerk and good only for a laugh or two or three) Oh well, I got off track there, thanks for the name of that book. You have her down pat too Cappy!!!! I do not understand how she can stand to even look at herself in the mirror .. she is such a hypocrite!! (n) Dovey :king:
With the surgeries she has had, part of that silicon costume may actually be in her cheek bones.:)

I've read this book, it was very good- totally different to Elvis and Me, a real eye-opener in some parts; and on occasion I even fealt a bit sorry for her!

I haven't read the book...anyway, I still think that it wasn't easy to live with Elvis and I have no doubt she wasn't so happy during their marriage...Elvis wasn't a perfect husband! Anyway she knew from the beginning she couldn't live with him a "normal"life...in their divorce she can't be considered a victim (as she showed in "Elvis And Me")...maybe she wasn't able to understand him, to share his spiritual side or to be the woman he needed...we should know how Elvis really felt next to her in those years...but this is impossible!
This is the reason why I don't like her...it's too easy to tell something that nobody can deny.
If she lived sad moments in her life....well...now they're totally compensated by undeserved success, money, popularity. She can't complain about the fact the most part of Elvis fans don't like her...she's has never got respect for his memory and she has always thought to profit on the name Presley.
But she has to remember that ELVIS IS WATCHING HER......

You are correct.
I don't think many people have even noticed the contradictions between what she has said in the past (her book) & what she is now saying ("Elvis By The Presley's").
She basically spit-on EP's "spiritual" searches, ........... but is now praising them in EBTP's.
------------------------------
Have said it before ------------> EBTP's = a beautiful re-write of EP History.
Just one, of a number of examples.

Just one opinion,
I'm not really a priscilla fan, but let me mark this,
It's true she makes money on the name "Presley"...and i don't like it....
But maybe without her none of us will be able to visit Graceland...????
Or maybe without her Lisa would have done some stupid things.....????
If you understand....
Maybe i'm wrong, this is just my opinion.....

I don't know a lot about the relationship between Lisa and her mother but I've always heard that Priscilla left her alone too many times in the past, when she was a little girl...too worried about her men and her career. Maybe she wasn't a very good mother and she has to thanks God that Lisa now is fine and that they still have a good relationship. I don't know if this is true but I can't see Priscilla has a positive person, sorry!! (n)

Albert Goldman is a complete scumbag and is responsible for 90% of the bullshit that pervades in the Elvis world today!....... this ***** is even being quoted by so called top journalists. In a recent serialisation in the The Daily Mail (UK Broadsheet) the comentator just basically regergitated the same old crap that Goldman started years ago. This is just lazy journalism, it shows that the reporter had preconceptions already and was bias against Elvis before a single word had be written.
In the main, most impartial journalists have moved away from the sensationalist skewed view from the 70's & 80's and have written from the point of view that doesn't focus on gutter journalism just to polorise a steriotype templated by Goldman.
Oh.... by the way........ Priscilla is..... well...... Bi-polar :lmfao:

Thank you Matt,
I was really having a hard time reading that book. (Even threw it a couple of times!!!!) He sure was not a Elvis Fan~~~ (in as much as I have read) he has not given Elvis credit for anything. Oh by the way, I only paid $1.59 for the book on Amazon. I know it is not worth a nickle but... I have been hoping that somewhere in the book he says something nice about Elvis.
Is "cilla" Bi-Polar? Perhaps Albert Goldman will write about her too. "I will not buy that book for sure." Well... maybe is I need a laugh..
Thanks for confirming what I was feeling about Goldman's book. ( I truly do appreciate it.. now I can finish the book as a comic book and not get upset about it !!)
Have a good day. Dovey :notworthy

Sorry to hear about Mr Goldman but I still resent his book very much = since I know he is no longer in this world... I guess I will not try to contact him to tell him what I think of his book. ( I feel sure he may of gotten a few letters on the subject):hmm:
"Cilla" does not act BiPolar but you never know .... I guess you got me on that one for sure. Thanks again Dovey
Thanks once again, Dovey

On the kings ransom video Priscilla is asked about the fact that most people still see her as the girl with the beehive hairdo and she said that some people still want to hold onto those images.
That has to be a joke coming from her as she has held onto those images more than anybody.
