Two Markers

Where is the little memorial marker for Jessie located? Is it at graceland with the other 4 big ones or seperate? was it put in by Elvis before he died?

The marker is just in a corner where the other grave sites are.....I'm not sure when it was put there though.....but it is very visible. The Meditation Garden is a great place.....very peaceful, and the fans are so respectful around it.......I can imagine Elvis and his Mum just sitting on the bench watching the people walk by......

It went in after Elvis died. Elvis never intended for his remains or his families to be interred at Graceland.

I dont imagine Elvis ever thought that someone would try to steal his coffin either, I think the decision to move both he and his mother to Graceland was a good decision. The marker for Jesse was also a good decision. It must be an eerie feeling for Lisa though, when she visits the graves.....there is a space left.......

Spooky isnt it? Lisa has some very beautiful haunting lyrics.. I didnt realize there was an extra plot for her til carolyn pointed it out.. then I put 2 n 2 together..

the 2 markers thing came from the idea we (sjlucas and I) thought jessie had 2 markers.. like we thought on of the big ones was his.. but after I thought about it I realized that the 4th was Minnie mae's.. right?

Yes, Minnie's grave is there, but as a grave site, not a marker. The marker for Jessie is (from memory) about 18 inches wide.....
It is quite eerie to see the one space left.....I can imagine it's a bit of a burden for Lisa's kids to see this.....personally I would like to see the actual grave site altered, so the 'extra' one wasn't there. It would only require the fence to be moved in a bit, nothing to disturb the existing graves.....not a good subject is it?
I just had a look in my photo album, and the marker for Jessie(as spelt on the marker) is a bit bigger than 18"......I can't post the photo though.....not sure how....
