I wanted to get an opinion from some of you guys... listen to the songs and post a comment.

P.S. - This is a live recording straight from the soundboard! It has not been tampered with or enhanced!

Not badly!(y)
A great interpretation although I think that Elvis had a deeper and more intense voice (especially in the 2nd song)...but, you know, Elvis was Elvis!! Anyway, my best compliments!!!

Nathan, I really like your songs. You are doing a fantastic job!;-) Don't shame that you didn't did a good job, you did. But there's only one Elvis. And one Nathan :)

Thank you, Danny. Glad you like the music. I do understand that THERE IS ONLY ONE ELVIS and I ain't him! But, I do enjoy performing his music. I want you all to understand, though, that this is meant to be respectful tribute to our hero. I am fed up and tired of all these impersonators and 'fat' Elvis' that have mental problems believing that they're Elvis himself. Guess you could compare me to Terry Mike Jefferys in a way. I know there's only one, and I'm just a fan trying to pay homage to one of the greatest entertainers that we'll ever have the pleasure of seeing or hearing. By the way, before Elvis or anyone else, there's my savior Jesus Christ!

God Bless!!!

O no, not the impersonator-mafia again. Go away! Go to impersonator-boards.....than you don't bother us real Elvis fans with this pathetic threads......

Could someone put on an interpretation of C.C.Rider from any Elvis impersonator? I'd like to hear that. I think the drum intro is so cool!!!(y)
What do you think of that? It gives me the ultimate Elvis-concert-mood.

Gertepet, I think you're wrong. Nathan isn't an Elvis impersonator. Just hisself singing the songs of Elvis. And I'm sanding behind him. He is doing a fantastic job. I'm curious how you would sing those songs. I hope you now understand this all. It's not easy to sing those sings. But Nathan is doing it (very well). And there are good impersonators, no doubt. And I think a real fan has respect for people..who just want bring the King back for one evening..one concert.. Nothing wrong with that. If they just stay with that one evening being him. Many people don't want to accept the fact that the man we love so much is no more with us. Yes, those people want to re-live a concert. And yes they are going to see a impersonator. I put my thumbs up for Impersonators...if they are doing Elvis Presley and not the carricature. In my head they are 5 or 6 impersonators who are doing that.. This is my opinion. You may give some critic on this..but if I may be honest..I don't care. Those people are paying forward the big impression Elvis made on us. Music and style. And one more thing about Nathan. I'll bet he sings much better then you...So don't critisize him.

I just downloaded a couple of these songs and I have to tell you they sound great! At first I thought you had overdubbed your voice over Elvis' until I read that it was direct from the soundboard. Keep up the great work! (y)

What do you think of that? It gives me the ultimate Elvis-concert-mood.

Here's "See See Rider", but I think the intro drum solo got cut off... I also attached "How Great Thou Art". You'll note that we do not have a quartet (regretfully), but I think it was tastefully done by the vocalist involved.

Danny and maccafan1985 - Thank you for your kindness and support. This is something that I do for enjoyment and because I think there's not many entertainers who really perform a RESPECTFUL tribute. Danny, you're correct, I'm not a full-time Elvis 'impersonator'. I also sing and perform tribute shows of other favorite artists such as Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Beatles and many more. It's music that I grew up on and love with all my heart. Hopefully, I can pass this on to a new generation... especially mine! I'm 25yrs. old and I tend to find a lack of knowledge in my generation concerning the history of music from such artists as previously mentioned.

By the way, Gertepet, I am a REAL ELVIS FAN!

Go away Gertepet.

Thanks for your contributions, Nathan. I really like the way you do what you do. Great music, very well performed. We need people like you so that outside observers realise the real Elvis fans aren't the fat *****s in jumpsuits. You bring respectability in what you do.

I'm glad to see you're not afraid to share your Christian faith too. I think we should, until the naysayers make it a crime.

Nathan... GREAT stuff! Although your voice isn't as deep or soulful as Elvis (just speaking candidly, now), I am amazed at your singing ability: you're note-perfect on every song and have a mellifluous quality that 99.9% of all impersonators lack. Your voice is a real pleasure to listen to! I find it REALLY, REALLY, REALLY impressive that you don't force any vocal gymnastics on the audience like, again, 99.9% of impersonators do. Your singing is smooth and classy. Those songs are saved to my PC for future listening.

Gertepet... what's with the negativity? All impersonation - taking off another person, putting on the clothes, getting up on stage and singing - involves some level of egotism. That's fact number one. The second fact is that no one can or ever will be Elvis. My advice is to let it go. Nathan sounds really good at what he does and is bringing a bit of the ol' Elvis flavour back - and he's doing it with taste and dignity. Hey... some of those audience members might even go back home and dig deep through their collections to hear Elvis again or even snap up some of his tunes from the shops. Failing that, everyone gets fifteen minutes, half an hour, an hour or whatever of warm entertainment.

Well done, Nathan! It's great to have ability and enjoy putting it to use. Long may it continue.

Thank you all for your comments. I appreciate your kindness and encouragement!

elvisdownunder - you're doing a wonderful job! Keep singing and practicing... honing your talents. Never be afraid to ask for advice or criticism. It only helps open doors to improvement. Remember that God has given you a gift to touch lives and bring joy to the hearts of others.

WOW!!! Incredible stuff!!! I'm really impressed with... everything about it! Elvis' voice does have a little deeper tone to it, but there's really not that much difference. Outstanding performance on "How Great Thou Art"! I miss the Stamps though... Do you have any others to share??? Do you have a web site???

Keep on performing! We need guys like you who can really pull off a respectful tribute.

Nathan, I understand that American Idol is going to dedicate some of there shows to Elvis singers this year. You and anybody else that loves to sing Elvis' songs should try out for that show if you get the chance. You are a good singer... would love to see you on there. Dovey:)

I do a lot of their earlier stuff like... "I Saw Her Standing There" and "All My Loving". Some others are "Can't Buy Me Love", "Blackbird", "I Feel Fine", "Get Back" and a bunch more. Thanks for asking!

In answer to your question, Danny... need I say???;)

Sure. Here's an original of mine that I wrote about two years ago. It's called "Memphis Rain". This is my fiance's computer, so I don't have all my stuff on here. I might post more later.

elvisdownunder - I'd love to share more with you, but at the moment I'm kind of in a hurry. Promise I'll fill you in soon!
