..........
Do you have an all-time favorite photo of Elvis? Could you post it here? I know it's probably very hard to pick just one, but i don't mind if you want to post more than just one. :D
Here's my favorite photo...I don't know why i like it so much...there's just something about it. I think it's very  !!
By the way...does anyone have this photo in better quality? (this one's from Paul's Elvis Page)

this is an evil thread... i have so many it's impossible trying to choose a few, let alone one!! well i have a shortlist of 12, but i managed to get it down to 4- it is physically impossible to get lower than that! great question though, can't wait to see other people's favourites. good pics already!

How do you insert pictures from your hard drive and post them on this forum???? When I click on "insert image" it makes me provide them with a link. Any help???

?You know, Bush is always comparing me to Elvis in sort of unflattering ways. I don?t think Bush would have liked Elvis very much, and that?s just another thing that?s wrong with him.?
Bill Clinton
During the 1992 presidential campaign.
Never read this quote before but I always knew that He was a big Elvis Fan... Gotta love this quote!!!!! Dovey
Elvis always looked so great in BLACK!!!!!!!!!!!:king:
I just love these photos.
The one with Elvis surrounded by 'the guys' has always been wonderfully mysterious to me...or mysteriously wonderful on the other hand...I think he looks so lean and cool in this photo, and just what are his thoughts looking into the camera in this one?
The other one with Vegas-acquaintance Engelbert Humperdinck is another stunning photograph and it looks even better in colour in Humpy's new biography entitled "What's in a name?"
Cheers,
NEA.

So many to choose like pretty much all of the Wertheimer photos and these:
The first one because He was always cool looking with a guitar.
The second because, even if it is not good quality My dad is in it! ( He's the policeman in the middle looking at the camera!)
ps.. thanks, I love to show off that picture ! :)

Here's a favorite on-stage shot. Used for the cover of "You'll Never Walk Alone". EP just looks ethereal in this shot. Sorry, this is not in great quality.

The one of Elvis and Vernon on the steps of Graceland just after his mother had died and they have there arm around each other trying to console each other. It is the most touching, beautiful photo I`ve ever seen.

Thank you all for sharing such wonderful photos!!
But, like everybody keeps saying it is difficult to narrow it down to just a few - there are just too many. Like with Garbo the camera just loved Elvis, although for me the candids are a favourite. Not the studioportraits, that at least in the 60's just made him into a statue, no feelings whatsoever. I can understand why he didn't let RCA demand any promotional photos taken in a studio, from him in the 70's.
BUt I did have a go at choosing a few favourites... but i am sure I missed a lot of highlights. E.g. I have no photos from Wertheimer's collection, the army, the comeback, 1969 or even the 70's. Maybe I add some later...

I love concert pictures! And some of his coolest expressions are from his younger days. I also liked the rebel look with his hottie Linda by his side!!

It's tough to choose just one photo of Elvis and say that's it's your favorite. He was only the most photogenic person in the world!!! There's something so facsinating about his persona that draws you in... you can't take your eyes off him... anyway, here's some of my favorites.

If I had to pick one it would be Elvis sitting at the piano singing "Unchained Melody", after he hits that high note.

That is so great that you chose that picture! Even though he was obviously in much pain and discomfort ( and possibly imbarassed by being on camera at that time in his life) it shows that he still had moments of happiness when it all came together ( the fans and the music ) for him.
