Ok, I need some help here. please! I can only afford to get one FTD right now to take on my vacation in Dec. with me. I'm really torn between All Shook Up and On Tour The Rehearsals. Can you guys fill me in a little on which one you would recommend and why?

Thanks so much for your help!!

If I had to choose I too would go for "On Tour Rehearsals".

It has awesome sound quality and some really good stuff on it, at least a little diff'rent from the concert cd's.

"All Shook Up" is a fun cd as well, to be honest, but once again: "On Tour" seems to be the most interesting one.

Wow, I guess you all agree, huh?? :D Ok, sounds good to me! I really was only looking at the All Shook Up because I want a copy of the laughing version of Are You Lonesome Tonight. I love listening to that!! Any ideas on where else I can get that song?

The are you lonesome tonight songs is on many, many releases. The latest escape..uhh..release with this song on it is the Hitstory boxset, to be exact: on disc 3: the story continues.

I would take the "on tour" rehearsals(y) to me one of the best FTD releases

I'd go for "All Shook Up". Although "The On Tour Rehearsals" contains rarer material, I think it's less upbeat than the great live performance of "All Shook Up".

I'd go for ON TOUR, ALL SHOOK UP is nice but it's only one more live concert, not better than OPENING NIGHT or AT THE INTERNATIONAL.

Yeah, but that's IF you own all these others. What if you don't own other FTD's and then have to choose between the two mentioned FTD's?

So imagine not owning a 1969/1970 show, and then have to choose between All Shook Up and The On Tour Sessions, what would it then be?

That's right Albert,if i haven't a live show yet from this period , i would go to for the 69 version...It's a great show...

Don't have "All Shook Up" yet, but I do have "On Tour - The Rehearsals" and can highly recommend it. Unlike most rehearsals, Elvis is very focused here, delivering outstanding results. Particular favorites are "Young & Beautiful" and "Burning Love" to name just two. There's not a bad track on the disc and the sound quality is very good.

I got my FTD CD of "All shook Up" last week and really love it!!! I listen to it each day. He could of made a 100 come backs and they would of all been a big success.

Hope to have my Elvis On Tour CD this week. It sure brings Elvis back to life to listen to him talk and laugh. "Fantastic"

Anybody have "Elvis The Louisand Hayride Shows" Box Set. That one really brings him back to life... he talks alot in them.. and it is as though he never left the building. (If you know what I mean!!!) Dovey
