Looks: Jocelyn Lane
Chemistry: Shelley Fabares
Most underrated: Anne Helm
Sex Appeal: Anne Helm Check her out during the "Angel" sequence in FTD. Wow!! I would have given
anything to be Elvis right then.
I know, I know. I'm supposed to answer Ann-Margret, but I've never liked her and I'm sick to death of VLV.

I always liked Judy Tyler in Jailhouse Rock.
I also like Anne Helm from Follow That Dream because I`ve met her and she was lovely.

and i also like ann margaret , of course
"Best" could mean so many things. Best acting, best looks, best chemistry with Elvis... which do you mean? I don't suppose anyone would deny that Ann-Margret and Elvis had the best chemistry, but the other qualities are a bit more subjective.
My personal favorite is definitely Laurel Goodwin. In case you didn't guess from my avatar.

My favorite with Elvis is Dolores Hart. Loving You and King Creole.

Looks and performance - Ann Margret and Juliet Prowse
Looks - Jocelyn Lane
But a lot of the co-stars did a nice job, no doubt about that.

Dolores Hart was lovely because she didn`t show off like some of the others did. She was beautiful in a very natural way.

I think the fact that Shelley Fabares played in three Elvis movies says enough. Elvis himself called her his favourite co-star together with Nancy Sinatra

Mildred Dunnock played Elvis's mother in Love Me Tender and she told a great story years ago on Merv Griffin who had a day time talk show. There was a scene where Elvis grabs a gun and runs to the door to check whos rode up, Dunnock as the mother Yells "Clint put down that gun"or something similar. She says on the first take when she yelled it- he stopped and put the gun on the nearby table. The director yelled cut and said Elvis you Don't put the gun down. He smiled embarrassedly and said" I was taught to respect my elders and she, uh caught me off guard I guess" everyone laughed. She said he was a joy to work with and showed real acting ability.
