Many people knows Elvis as "the king", but I've heard he had other nicknames too... I don't know them all, so if anybody can tell me something about, I would be so happy. :P
Which Elvis' nicknames do you know? :hmm:

THANKS for your help. :flowers:

Elvis the Pelvis, (though he hated that phrase). EP as he was called by his friends, the Atomic Powered singer as he was called early in his career.

The HillbillyCat was another from the 50s. Tiger was his karate nickname. I think there were some personal nicknames betweeen he and Priscilla and he and Linda but I can not recall them.

Yes!, I remember now... Elvis said about the nickname (in a interview, Elvis56 video) he hated the most, that it was a "childish expression". And that "Atomic Powered Singer" one, was used as promotion for his 1956 appearences in Las Vegas... By the way, that was not a "hit", right?

...John Burrows as an alias.
Elvis used a few names as alias.

For instance the Presley`s bookings in the Ilikai Hotel ( HAWAII 05-04-69 ) under the name CARPENTERS , the name of Elvis` character ( Dr. John Carpenter ) in his movie CHANGE OF HABIT .

"Gorgeous George" was a wrestler in the 50's and 60's. I never heard Elvis called that.
