Elvis Polk Salad Annie FTD

What are your thoughts about the FTD "Elvis Polk Salad Annie" I was thinking of purchasing it.

Personally, I would definitely consider adding it to your collection! Although Elvis has a cold during the show that is contained on POLK SALAD ANNIE, he still sings very well and one of the highlights is hearing Elvis sing the usually omitted second verse of HOUND DOG ("Well, they said you were high classed...")! As far as I know, this is the only show where he ever sang that verse of the song!!

An EXCELLENT version of SUSPICIOUS MINDS and CAN'T HELP FALLING IN LOVE are also other great reasons why you should consider adding this CD to your collection!!

I'd definitely be interested to hear what you think of POLK SALAD ANNIE if/when you add it to your collection!!!

Received my Polk Salad Annie FTD, love the thing! (y) The sound is so clear and much better than my Box Set "Walk A Mile In My Shoes" I love Elvis' voice even if he did have a cold, I didn't notice that really. The last two songs on the end seemed out of place though. But I love it and I love the band! (y) I love Elvis laughing and talking. This is really a good quality CD. I will always enjoy listening to this one. :) It makes me wish I could have seen him in person.

I am so glad that you received your copy of POLK SALAD ANNIE and that you really enjoyed it!! I always feel a bit uneasy offering my advice on a particular CD...I'm always afraid someone might not enjoy it as much as I do!! But in this case, it sounds like you are really enjoying the CD, which I am so glad about!!! :clap:

Have you decided on which FTD you might consider picking up next? :hmm: There are LOTS of great ones, but a couple of my absolute favorites at the moment are ELVIS ON TOUR: THE REHEARSALS and BIG BOSS MAN, which is an AWESOME concert from Las Vegas in March, 1975!! I think you would truly enjoy both of these too!! But that is just my humble opinion... :blush:

I DEFINITELY recommend ELVIS ON TOUR: THE REHEARSALS!! I know you'll love it....it's a fantastic FTD....one of the best, in my opinion!! :clap:
