Stealing Designs

While having a look on EBAY, I saw this :

You will recognize UNCHAINED "On Tour" excellent design. Too bad, it has been stolen by an EBAY "seller" (for another ON TOUR OUTTAKES dvd) and that really sucks!

Yes,

I can understand that the seller wanted to increase his sales by using a fantastic cover. But of course this is not the way it works.

It's also dangerous, since EPE might think Unchained (or other designers) are co-operating with these sales.

Perhaps it's a wise idea to mail the seller first with a kind request to take away this cover and that you're otherwhise forced to contact Ebay about this. Big chance that he will remove the cover.

i agree that all designs are great for the new on tour discs . the person has done wrong in just using the design to sell the item - i surely would not have done this .- its all wrong -:cursing:

On e-bay there are lots of covers wich are made by some of the designers on this board. And it really is a crime that they use there covers. On the other hand...it's a good promotion for your covers (if they put this coveron the actual product). But also (as Albert said) a little dangerous cause EPEmight indeed think that those designers have something to with that release.
And what do you think of all the hours that are put in these covers. But there is a other problem also...all covers by me or unchained or Spinout or who ever, are online for free download in the right sizes..so it's very easy to use those covers...maybe we have to think about a other way to present our covers. Are just put a watermark on the whole cover. But to get back to the subject...yes, it sucks that the fantastic cover from Unchained is on ebay, without the permission of the designer himself!.

Yes this makes me angry!! He should email the seller and have him/her take it off of there, or like you all said report it to E-Bay! :cursing: What a shame this happened. I have some of the covers and love them and would never do anything to take away the previlege of having them to enjoy!

Sorry some people would do this!

"You should not have put that cover up on e-bay it's not the proper thing to do. You did not have permission from the designer. Please remove this Elvis Cover from your sale.

I also translated it into Spanish I guess that's what language it was in??

Yes, I use only the best paper when printing these artwork covers from all of you designers and I appreicate all the hard work that goes into them. I even showed my neighbor one that I had the other day in the CD case all fixed up. She is a high school teacher teaches computer classes and this artwork is one of the things she teaches. She thinks the artwork designs you all do are just great!

Although I am not a designer, I have to say that I would be VERY UPSET if one of my designs were stolen and used for this purpose!!! It's so nice to know there are true fans of the outstanding artwork on this board like you and Jeanno, who are helping the designers to TCB when one of their designs are stolen in this manner!!! :clap:

You and Jeanno are to be commended for your help in maintaining Unchained's artistic integrity by helping to remove his name and artwork from this product!!! :notworthy
