If I'm still up to date ...Then my first reaction would be Essential Elvis Volume 1
Ithought the end title version was on there....But i'll have to check it at home...

i don't think there wass a movie version for love me tender. as far as i know the added the song when it became a hit anf figured it would fit in nicely. as for the ending version that is on the essential elvis vol.1 and the jailhouse rock/love me tender double features cd.(y)

indeed the regular song done in the movie is the same ...I thought you were reffering to the end-title version...

There exist an instrumental LMT Movie Version.
Also the Endtitle Version was only used in the movie. 1st released on import Vinyl LP's, later by BMG on Essential Elvis Vol.1.

Ah yes, the end title version. I've always wondered when that last verse was written; was it part of the original song and just not recorded in the version to be released, or was it added later?

...Or was it two additional verses? I remember that part, but it seems like there was more that was different in that version. Anyone?
