The fans of Elvis are from all over the world and they are extremely loyal. This was especially apparent on the day of his funeral when his fans poured into Memphis, some having spent most of ther savings just so they could tell Elvis good-bye. All three national networks were there, and when the people waiting outside Graceland were interviewed, they had much the same thing to say: "I loved him; "I had to be here"; He was such an important part of my life"; "Elvis was like a member of my Family."

I remember this.
