Just found this news on ElvisNews.com:
The regular quarterly FTD release for October 2005 is a Vegas concert "soundboard" recording from August 1972, with bonus songs. It is tentatively titled "Summer Festival". The date is not for sure yet, but it will be an unreleased show from this Vegas season.
Also coming in October are two more releases in FTD's Classic Albums program, which reissues Elvis albums that are no longer part of RCA Records' mainstream Elvis catalog. FTD is considering several different options, but it looks like these reissues will be one movie soundtrack album and one studio album. These reissues feature original album cover art and great bonus material not part of the original release.

This is definitely exciting news for fans, as I know many have been hoping that FTD would release a show from the Summer '72 Vegas engagement! Personally, I can't wait to see which show FTD chooses to release!! (y)
I wonder if the "Classic Albums" that FTD will choose to release will be the soundtrack to CLAMBAKE and the updated RAISED ON ROCK album?? The last news I heard from FTD was that these 2 albums were being worked on for October....perhaps FTD has changed their minds and will release other albums instead? Has anyone heard any updated information on these "Classic Albums"?? :hmm:
Just thought I'd share this exciting news with everyone!!
TCB!
