Can anyone please tell me about the new webcam looking out of Elvis' bedroom. What part of the grounds does it look onto? I think we should be able to view this cam free of charge.

Do you think it mean of EPE to charge for this facility? I do.

Regards.

EPE's "Collector's / Insider's Club" - IMO, is a blatant gimmick pandering to the simplest (uncritical thinking) of fans.

The "Bedroom Cam", represents this PERFECTLY.

Actually, ........... it is quite the comedy, when you really think about it. :D

$$$$$$$$$ :notworthy

I've seen the webcam and it gives a strange feeling considering the text that stand beneath it. It goes something like: "this is the view that Elvis had when he was in his bedroom on the final day of his life".

About a month ago, I came across a website that showed the view from the webcam. After a long search, I haven't been able to find the website, and I didn't bookmark it. The view Elvis had was the front yard& side yard facing the highway. Not really much else. I think it's terrible that EPE is charging to view this. It's not like they need the freakin money!!

This is exactly what I was getting at in my earlier post.

EP's preferred method to take a gander down towards the front of his property was by use of closed-circuit TV system; he had monitors sitting in his bedroom-office complex precisely for this purpose.

Besides, it would also have definitely been hard to peep out his window, ........... since EP had long since closed-sealed his bedroom windows to keep out the sunlight (in keeping with his reversed night-day living habits).

--------------------

Another EPE Fairytale.

(Yet another doozy is EP's bedroom remaining untouched as it was back in August of '77).

The "Mystery" keeps 'em coming back for more.

........... $$$$ cha-ching $$$$ :lmfao:

Have to agree with the money making line, it's a shame that EPE lower themselves to this sort of level when you know that Elvis himself would have hated any sort of invasion of privacy to this degree. That said they have already sold Elvis out many, many years ago!!

Thanks for this link! I feel a little bit better now...
By the way, I agree with you (all): need lots of money in order to pay for that "room service" (:P).

Hi! Thank you for posting this! I'm wondering what the story is, about the picture on the right? Anything about those "orbs"? I just went on a ghost hunt tour over the weekend, and learned about paranormal stuff. Any info about Graceland's happenings?? That' would be very interesting! :)

Thanks!

Thank you for the photo of the WebCam. Yes, I agree Elvis would not have liked this idea. He gave to his fans freely. Just a money making thing EPE what a shame. Yes, we all know that Elvis' bedroom was sound proofed and window's sealed from daylight.

I don't know why we should be surprised at EPE charging for viewing. Given the fact that Elvis is a product to them first as opposed to an artist, should we be expect anything less?

Isnt the fact that Graceland could even consider charging for a view out of Elvis' window more of a comment on his fans?I think it demonstrates the obsessive nature of many Elvis fans.EPE has been tapped into it for a long time. This is a perfect example of how Elvis' true legacy is being lost.People should be supporting FTD and DVD releases rather than these cheap ploys. We fans over the years have demonstrated how easily we like to give our money to EPE without much consideration to taste or quality standards.

When Elvis was alive he didn't see what the camera shows us. The king never looked out of the window, simply because it was shaded permanently to keep the daylight out of the room. It would be far more interesting, if the camera was turned around and showed us what is inside those rooms.

I don't think l would like to take a look in to elvis room, don't get me wrong, is would be interesting, but l feel like l be looking into something elvis didn't want anybody to see, except close people. He was such a private person, so his bedroom was his getwawy.

I don't think we should pay to view the cam, I don't think we should pay to be member's of the forum...fans are fans...just because a set of them pays doesn't make them any "more" fans...I don't like this division that they (EPE) seems to have made thru this.
I agree they don't need the money, this is just sad...and now they are selling photos of events @ Graceland...I think Elvis would def. not approved.
The web cam is mounted outside his bedroom window and overlooks the front lawn...I have a pic of it someplace...I'll find and post.

I used to pay to be founding member but didn't renew as I just didn't feel it was necessary. :)

Elvis was the kind of person who gave freely and I just know he would be totally disgusted that his fans are being ripped off in this way.

I think our world would be a much better place if he were still w/us, or if he had lived a little longer...most def some of the stuff that is going on now wouldn't be...jmho

you know,it's not that bad,i mean you don't see his room all the time, only his sight to the garden and the highway...
but i don't know what EPE wants to do with this...it's not very special or something
