1)50's one...not-dyed yet...made up in that famous hairdo(y)
2)that of '69 (the sideburns were IDEAL ones...and GOOSH how I love sideburns:notworthy ) and early 70's
3) NOT that of late 70's...the hair's way too long...and sideburns....YUCK...are resembling hamburgers:mad:

I thought his hair looked the best starting around the '68 Special and continuing right through until the end of 1970. Probably my favorite hairstyle has to be the one he sported in CHANGE OF HABIT and THE TROUBLE WITH GIRLS (AND HOW TO GET INTO IT)! Love those sideburns!! :king:
Of course, his hairstyle from the 50's is CLASSIC and truly defined not only Elvis, but the entire period of the 1950's!!! (y)

- "Love Me Tender"
- Even though for the most part it was a wig, his hair in "Jailhouse Rock"
- His Army next-to-nothing hair *sigh*
- I hated that late sixties poofy style with the little bangs/curl hanging down.
- Any time his hair was messy or and hanging in his face was a good time for me (y)

I agree anytime his hair was all messed up it was so awesome! I especially loved the late 60's and early 70's hair. I loved those sideburns and how it got a little long. Ahhhh, beautiful!!!!!!

MMMMMMMMMMM- smbs going horny:blush:
I just love the hairstyle of the late 60's and of the 70's. Although the hair and sieburns were too long at the end of the 70's. As if Elvis didn't care anymore.
Here are two fav. pic's I just love.
Be safe and take care,

I liked Elvis' hair in the seventies, though there were times when it got too long, and he needed a trim!!!

I've always thought his hair looked SUPERB in publicity shots for "Harum Scarum".
As a man, Elvis probably looked his best in 1969/1970.

I definitely prefer the Elvis 70s hairstyles over any other, but this look was a great one and not typical at all for the movie years.

I like the most of his hair styles, but 1968-1972 is my favorite. It,s most becoming and really awsome! I,m tempted to mess up his hair with my own fingers! i love to feel his soft nice hair in my own hands!!:P

Sorry, don't like that style. It looks like my hair now and I dislike it that way.
Elvis' hair also looked very good in his early films (Loving Me Tender through to Flaming Star). I mean... it suited him down to the ground AND was a cultural icon. That's some achievement.
If there's a flatter look I like pre-70s, it's how he had his hair in Change of Habit. God, that man had amazing features! What's more, he looked manly without having to sport the musclular body of modern "heart-throbs" like George Clooney and Brad Pitt. Anwyay, Change of Habit:

Have to say:
Loving You
Jailhouse Rock
GI Blues
Speedway - little longer and has some sideburns
Cool burns:
Change Of Habit
Trouble With Girls
TTWII
'68 Special is cool when his hair is messed up, but when it's really combed I don't really like it very much.
WORST:
Girls, Girls, Girls
Pot Luck LP
It Happened At The World's Fair
Viva Las Vegas
got a little better in Roustabout and Tickle Me BUT seriously sucked in almost every movie after that up until Speedway
Although I will have to say that Jonathan Rhys-Meyers hair was actually superior to all of the above.(n)
Just kidding

Elvis' style is the best. I love it!!! Talking about hairstyle... Well, I'm fascinated with that 50s. classic (and very sexy) one. Anyway, the king was really handsome.

Back then, a slim waist and being thin was certainly the style and not the muscular look you see today. Either way, EP was incomparable.

The 50s, and the one i use as avatar and even 68 comeback special
What don't you like about 73' and 74'? Just wondering since you chose all of the other years.
Well that's very simple King and Deb simply because in 1973 and 1974 the hair looked most of the times too fluffed up like for example on the Aloha show and on a lot of other pics and in 1974 it was all messy and the sideburns were uneven most of the time too. So that's the reason.I was looking for a tattoo because I just got myself an Elvis tattoo 2 months ago and went over 3 million pics at least from each and every period ;) Btw I will post it one of these days. It's a pic from the '69 press conference.:king:
