A couple times lately I've caught most of a CMT program naming their 20 Greatest Songs of Faith. HGTA was #4 or 5, I forget now which.
The songs were picked for the songs themselves, not necessarily a performance by a particular artist. While they were featuring HGTA, half of that segment featured clips from the Hampton Roads performance. The rest of it showed Connie Smith singing it.
I just looked it up and the show's next airing is Fri, Apr. 29 10:00 PM ET/PT. It's worth watching if you like that kind of music.
Oh yeah--I didn't catch the whole show either time I watched it, so there may be more along these lines, but when they showed that Connie Smith segment, she was accompanied by the Stamps including J.D. It looked to be in the last year or so of his life.
