Nice to see that, Curtis. The Cashes were a neat couple and of course both individually went way back with Elvis.

Thanks for sharing it.

Have seen a number of these telegrams (both pre- & post-'77).

Agreed, quite interesting items; they don't however age well unless carefully cared for with time.

Graceland sold a whole slew back in '99 at its Guernsey's Auction. As a result, there are a lot out there. As with other items in that particular auction ---> people purchased, then later turned around & re-sold individually for a profit.

Same thing can be seen with "Lisa Marie" Convair 880 Flight Logs & 1961 Bloch Arena (USS Arizona Memorial) Tickets (which are very nice items, btw.) ........ just to name a couple more.

While many people pick up these kinds of items for the personal enjoyment / collecting .......... many others are in it for the pure profit & the money-making end of it. For good & bad, TTWII. It starts at the top with Graceland itself, selling them ......... then trickles on down as the chain-of-ownership & profit index .......... grow.

Graceland knows full well what it is doing - on a number of levels. ;)
