Right now i have on one of my tapes of this concert,
Kansas city june 24 1974 evening show.
this is a wonderfull concert of Elvis in 1974.
but i would like to know is there an aftternoon show out there yet on soundboard.

Is that the "I love all y'all" show? Where he has a bit of a giggling fit and before starting I Got A Woman, comments on all the songs he did that started with a "well", sang one line of When My Blue Moon Turns To Gold Again, and then Blue Christmas?
That is a good show, not quite as tight as the great shows from March, but way better than some from the months that followed.

Bobby, Did you know that particular show is being re=released under the title "Kansas City Blues", along with improved sound quality and 2 different songs added to the end?
My favorite part of that show is where Elvis says "and be sure and buy Jimmy Dean pure pork sausage because that Jimmy Dean needs the money".....what a classic line:lmfao:

You're right. I think I am talking about the same one as Curtis though since he named Kansas City, which as you correctly point out was on the 29th.
Big Boss, no, I hadn't heard of that release. And yes, that was a classic line, delivered in hilarious fashion.
