question about elvis's last ever concert running time

how long was elvis on stage for for his last ever concert indianapolis 26th june,ive seen dvds saying the running time is 42 minutes,this seems to be quit short.

any ideas

Well, it certainly wasn't 42 minutes, you're right about that.

Actually the Indianapolis show lasted longer than the previous shows during that last tour.

The Indy show lasted for about 75 minutes.

Well, the video may well be just 42 minutes long. I actually haven't seen that much footage that's strictly from Indy, but there are at least a couple versions of this Indy concert floating around which have been expanded by including more '77 footage (Chicago and other venues) which matches up reasonably well--but you won't think so if you're not used to seeing much amateur footage--and makes for an overall nice concert experience, especially with the awesome stereo sound which others have said and I agree is better than on the highly impressive Adios, The Final Performance audience recording CD.

I could be wrong, but I want to say that the actual Indy footage is considerably less than 42 minutes. And also I believe that there are versions out there which are closer to one hour with the additional footage to stretch the video out. I'm not certain of that though. If he does not chime in, you might send a PM to spinout-designs.
