Funny, reading this topic makes me thinking about the time that I was a young kid, browsing through my fathers early 1970's fanclub magazines. In those magazines the last page always had one letter of the alfabet and converting it to an Elvis alamanac....

Great stuff (y)

Brut can still be found in stores here in the U.S. too, along with Old Spice--that's the real old-mannish one, if you ask me. I didn't know Elvis wore that. They are both very inexpensive.

Not too many people wear Brut anymore, but I've always liked that scent. Definitely a masculine scent, which is consistent with their slogan: Brut. It smells like a man.

By the way, apparently Elvis wore Jovan Musk as well.

Strange..over here in Holland ..Brut allong with old spice are one of the cheapest brands they sell (they're still nice to smell though)About 10euro's i think nowadays. While the more exclusive brands sell around 30 or 40 euro's for the same amount of liquid! So we smell Elvis a lot over here!

Smell ya'll later!!!

Just one thing, as far as I know Elvis was only involved in scientology for a very short while, mainly out of curiosity, but as I understood, after he saw what it was about, he really didnt agree with it and keep away from it: "they are pure brain but no heart", he said.

I was thinking the very same thing :hmm:

BTW....Cheap or not, I use Brut aftershave too!

My dad used to wear Old Spice. Man - they're both such OLD aftershaves. Teehee. I don't go for either of those. Sorry!
