Since we've done a lot of best of's how about your opinions about Elvis' best finishing moves. There were so many classics, I'll start off with the original TTWII when EP closes out Suspicious Minds shaking (in tempo mind you) like he was being electrocuted, unfrickinbelievable!

:secret: It?s GREAT TOPIC!!! But I can?t say my fav. move.... I think that all his moves on stage especially on Hawaii concert (highlight from choreography)! But in late 70s (In Concert) he moved far far slower... and not so nice! But still better than choreography of a lot of other musicians!

How about the 68 special, the leather suit version of If I Can Dream when he finished with both hands in the air above his head like a champion.

I like the way Elvis finishes the duet with Frank Sinatra :D
But besides that one, I can't come up with one finisher particularly. I have to watch the tapes again (y)

Elvis had a lot of great moves on that I am sure we can all agree.
Perhaps, for me, one of the most perfect finishing moves must surely be at the end of CHFIL on the Aloha From Hawaii show. First the cape throw into the audience followed by the perfectly timed double fisted air punch.
The karate routine ending at Pitsburgh 76, where mid routine he tosses a scarf into the audience must also go down as the perfect punctuation to a legendary show.
There are many more of course.
I love the ending of `Fever' on the Aloha rehearsal show when he flicks his arm over in a swan-like movement.
The ending on Jailhouse Rock from EIC is also great when he rolls his eyes towards Ronnie Tutt.
The karate poses at the end of the December 76 concerts are fantastic, too.
Another one is from February 77 when he stomps across the stage at the end of Polk Salad Annie - look at the great audience reaction,

Throwing the cape out in Aloha was perfectly timed....the Man was a genius......

One of my favorite moves is the way he finishes up POLK SALAD ANNIE in ELVIS ON TOUR!! Man, he is just crankin' there!!
I do have to say that, for dramatic effect, the ending of HURT from ELVIS IN CONCERT where he pauses briefly before he launches into the final notes brings goosebumps everytime I see it!
And I agree with carolynlm...throwing his cape into the audience at the end of ALOHA FROM HAWAII is sheer brillance!!

I like it all, but one that stands out for me is the ending of the Mystery Train/Tiger Man medley from TTWII SE.
Just great!

Oooh! Yeah, that one there is pretty tough to beat! And pretty tough to do, too--ever try it? Careful, you might end up needing...http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/3/3_2_101.gif
To continue my unoriginality, I would have to also say the Aloha cape toss as well as the ending of PSA in EOT. Oh yeah, and the karate routine before leaving the stage in Pittsburgh.
Great stuff!

One that is mabye not widly known, but gives me goosebumps allover every time I see it is the finishing move he does at the ending of Trying To Get To You during the Rapid City June 21st 1977 performance. The full body shot with Elvis stamping with his foot on the rythym of the music is just fantastic
