Am I right in thinking that EPE can only prosecute if it is related to any so-called unofficial project in the UK regarding Elvis' music? For example, the recent story of the bootlegging of CDs and tapes by a UK fan.

I thought Sid Shaw of Elvisly Yours had made it possible for Elvis' name and image to be used for magazines, photos, etc. ?

Can anyone shed any light on this matter?

Cheers.

i think his image can be used, but when it comes down to recordings owned by bmg/rca thats another issue. did you ever notice when you buy some of these budget dvds, you only here elvis' speaking voice but never the music or him singing. there is some kind of law where if you here him speaking or giving interviews its ok.but if they are cd's of live shows or studio material they cannot be sold (n) . hope this helps, or correct me if i am wrong you guys. have a great week, i stayed home from work just to have a relaxing elvis kind of day :D , all the best.......... simmerrocks (y)
