I dont understand it myself Erhan........this version has an awesome finish.......he's so supple, not many people could bend flat onto the ground like that.........
.........and my favourite jumpsuit too......wish they'd shown more songs with the short fringe.....

Please someone put this on my Christmas list with all the other fantastic concert footage, interview, etc.. that have yet to be cleaned up re-edited and put out on dvd and blu ray. I have been an Elvis fan since 1988 when I was ten and I have discovered more in the last year that I never knew existed, very exciting and yet frustrating that this stuff has yet to put into a good format that it deserves. Okay done ranting now, great clip!:D

After watching the ending for the 12th time, it almost sounds like the audience thinks there is something wrong like he passed out, then when he stands back up they start cheering again.
Thanks for the posting the video, one of my favorites. If I could go back in time for only one song to see Elvis perform live, I would choose "Patch It Up".

İf There was a error in Recording or camera you can cut it edit it fix it what ever you had to do but this must be in TTWII or TTWII-SE...

with all the patching (excuse the wording;) they did for various songs, I don't understand why if the version used in TTWII was more technically correct, they couldn't use the ending of Opening night Patch it Up
The first time I saw this my reaction was-what fool decided not to use this version in the original?
Then my second reaction was, okay- it was not used in the first version-how could they leave it out of the SE that Turner did later?
My only guess is that its so good they are saving it for something later...................lets hope and pray that is the case and not just total lack of recognition of a super great athletic performance by Elvis.

Great version, sometimes I think that the people who put these DVD's etc together are blinded by so much material and they tend to go for perfect takes rather than versions that contain inferior lyrical gymnastics...

Yes you are probably correct-a minor mistake does not negate a great performance when taken as a whole-perfect takes are hard to come by.
Perhaps its the old axiom they can not see the forest because of the trees in the way.
