This is a wonderfully well detailed documentary on Elvis in Las Vegas. It shows how the Colonel ripped him off and how Vegas allowed him to showcase his talents while at the same time led to his demise and his death.:'( There's a lot of rare and unseen concert footage shot by fans including some from on tour throughout the 70's. Great in dept interviews with those who knew him best such as the bandmates. Some new discoveries, at least to me, such as Elvis firing the Colonel but taking him back because of the finances that would have been involved. It's a MUST-SEE documentary for all Elvis fans!(y)

The firing of Parker was handled by Parker "in his own expert snowman way".
Upon hearing he had been fire he immediately began constructing a bill that he knew was impossible to check for accuracy- because Parker kept the accounts between he and Elvis...that bill was so high he knew Elvis could not possible come up with it and he knew it would scare Vernon into convincing Elvis that he was needed and must be hired back. It worked. SNOWMAN won once more.

Thanks for posting this Viva, some of this was new to me too. I didn't know there was footage of the waiter issue, although I have heard the audio. Certainly gives me a whole new appreciation of Elvis.
