Actually, I sent an e-mail to EPE giving them an update on Elvis' current Soundscan Sales and they re-interpreted it wrongly. In fact, 'The Essential Elvis' was certified GOLD on August 4th, 2010 by the RIAA and NOT Billboard Magazine. I have e-mailed them and the article has now been removed. The fact remains it could still be awarded PLATINUM by the RIAA very soon, perhaps in August.
