Does anyone own this set, if so do u think the mastering was a huge step up from what we had, or no real improvement, its surpassed now by the CM Set of course, but at the time this was the thing to have .............

At the time it was a good sound improvement, but today it does sound too 90's to me. Lots of digital echo on certain tracks, and some mixes are not very good.

The deal now is the Legacy Elvis Complete Masters Box Set, sound is organic, vinyl like, and so way more powerfull, sometimes is like the guitar, the piano or the drums jump out of the speaker to your living room. Now I don't own that one, but those are the same mixes on the new Legacy reissues and Elvis '75.
