If u need lots of pics i would say the Elvis Encyclopedia (Hardcover) not the one written by the D.Stanley (Awful guy) but the one written by Adam Victor, altough it has some wrong info the pictures are of great quality and it gives u info on every song elvis sung and by who it was originally

depends on if you're after books that cover specific shows or years of his life. The photo books can be quite specific such as Elvis 71 @40. Ger Rijff has some very good books on the pre Army Elvis.

inexpensive, very good photos, in fact, it is cheap enough that you could buy 2, one to read and one to cut up and frame, put on the walls, whatever!

There are so many good things to say about this book, Elvis The Concert Years 1969 - 1977, that a review seems rather unnecessary, but excellent material deserves praise and any fans of the concert years has to have this book on his shelf. Somehow Mr. Skar realized the impossible and produced the BEST Elvis Presley book ever available on the concert years from 1969 to 1977, this is now the reference on the subject ....
GREAT BOOK!!!! (y)(y)(y)
Beyond this , the majority of books the JAT's - magnificently , the jesli walks You about picture

i must say i was a little disappointed with Elvis The Concert Years 1969 - 1977. It has a lot of information which is really good as referance but I would have preferred more photos. But thats a personal thing. My favourite book is ThanK You Very Much by Paul Lichter, but its becasue it has so many photos of the wing suit and I'm nuts about that suit

I've got that one too, bought it at a Half-Price bookstore, it is a good one!

Evie, I don't have Concert Years, but I would love to. I'd also love to own any of the JAT early books, but I'd have to win the Lotto first...

Thanks everyone for your replies! Iīve ordered a book nobody mentioned: I ordered "Elvis - The King of Hawaii" because I like the pictures of his vacations. But you can go on writing what other books are good, because Iīm sure Iīll order more books.

The King of Hawaii? I don't think I've heard of that one, I have the one by Jerry Hopkins - Elvis in Hawaii.

King of Hawaii i think is put out by the same people that did the King of Las Vegas and The Elvis Files book. The King of Hawaii covers all of Elvis trips, films, concerts in Hawaii i think it a 500 page book
