Ali was asked in an interview which side of the street would a crowd rush to if Elvis was walking down one side and Ali was on the other.....he smiled and said that would be a pretty close call because he knew Elvis was known worldwide.....pretty good compliment from Ali....if you know Ali!:P

I watched a programme on him on Monday night.....very good

there's also a 5 part documentary on ITV4 this week......he sure was 'The Greatest'..so sad to see a great Man so debilitated

I was very lucky to see history unfold on TV the day Ali (Cassius Clay in those days) jumped into the ring after Sonny Liston's fight and declared he was THE GREATEST and how he was going to wup Liston's arse. I remember thinking at the time "What a clown and how embarassing." Boy, was I wrong!!
The fight game has never been the same without Ali. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHAMP !!
