Hi my friends,

Last week my aunt went to the hospital because she had a thick arm (due to trombose). She had breast cancer about 10 years ago, so had a periodical check. The doctors didn't want to take any risk and did some tests. They found out quickly that the cancer was back. So instead of just a short visit, she had to stay in the hospital.

She's alone and only have her cats. Even though they live 200 miles apart, my aunt and my mum are best friends. They drive my father nuts with those daily phone calls that often can take hours lol

The past few days she heard that she has lung cancer, a brain tumor and cancer in her lymph node. In short: suddenly the future is either short or extremely uncertain and painful. Next week she will receive the final notice of several tests, where all options (if any) will be given. Right now the expectation is only months.

This is devastating, especially because it's my mum's little sister and best friend. I know things like this are unfortunately not uncommon for many of us.

I'd would like to ask you to say a prayer for my aunt Louise. She's such a wonderful person and I really wish that there's a little miracle left...somewhere.... out there

I'm so sorry to read this Albert... Cancer is so cruel illness! I've lost my both grandpas because of cancer. One of them was lucky, cuse he didn't know at all he was ill. They found out after his death. At my other grandpa we waited for the miracle. :'( :'( But it never came... The cancer was more cruel and stronger and it took him away from us. The most cruel thing it can come back many years later.

Albert, I wish the absolute best for your Aunt Louise.

Not uncommon, that is for certain. My wife's aunt Becki who lives with us is actually in a similar condition. To make a long story short: cervical cancer which had spread to some lymph nodes in abdomen and lungs, chemo, lots of success with that, hysterectomy, some cancer found on the outside of uterus upon removal (not previously known) but still talk of her being "in remission" while maybe doing radiation for some peace of mind, fast forward 5-6 weeks to about a week ago, blood in urine, cancer found in bladder and a few other new areas, she came home from the hospital yesterday after a new round of chemo but is looking at the same kind of time frame as your dear aunt, perhaps less.

Sorry I did not mean to divert attention. I just read your story and was stricken that we both have aunts facing this.

Cancer sucks. And people, please stop smoking before smoking stops you.

ALBERT you can be certain that i among many of your friends will be praying that JEHOVAH GOD heal your dear aunt. I also have an aunt on my moms side - my moms fave sister and my fave aunt , who is also very ill with leukemia. I really wish your aunt well and great healing from our creator . Cancer is such an awful disease as it takes so many , my dad had lung cancer , my grandads both had cancer, so i and many know what you are going through and our prayers will be heard by all mighty GOD JEHOVAH. Please keep us posted as to how she is doing.
