Woops, I should have looked a little further down the page before posting my link. Great story by Whitney. She called Elvis awesome to be in his presence and that she is proud of that moment in her life. She spoke highly of the King! (y)(y)

Man, I can only imagine what that was like. I know I would not be able to speak.

It’s always amazing to me how many big stars met him and are just in aw to be in his presence. That had to make Elvis very uncomfortable at times, to have that kind of power. I don’t think there are any other celebrities today that have that kind of presence.

Paulie Shore also talks about meeting Elvis when he was a kid and his father, comedian Sammy Shore, was the comic to open with Elvis in 69 at the International. He said Elvis's mutton chops scratched his face when Elvis picked him up and sat him on his lap at the age of 4 in Vegas.
He also (in a comedic way) claims Elvis tossed him the air and that he missed catching him-which explains some about Paulie today:P
