ETM & HM have informed us that FTD have ran into problems with their latest releases. It looks like 'He Touched Me' and '48 Hours From Memphis' may not appear until early October.

Its actually a clever move, avoiding a clash between Young Man With The BIg Beat with the new FTD releases, that for the benefit in sales for both, the mainstream and the FTD ones.
Three expensive releases in one moth was too much, I won't even see anything wrong if they waint until late October/Early november, taking advantage of the christmas sales.

I've also noticed on several websites that they are making a point to clarify that the 48 HOURS TO MEMPHIS CD is in MONO. :hmm:

What? wasn't the whole point of it being an "extraordinary discovering" the fact that it is a stereo recording on the same quality of the Memphis show two days latter?

That was what we were all under the impression of, but several websites including ELVIS AUSTRALIA are reporting that the show is in fact a mono recording. Therefore, if that is indeed the case (as it appears to be information obtained directly from FTD), then this show couldn't possibly be a 16-track multi-track recording can it? (I don't know much about these things, but if a recording is a multi-track recording, doesn't that automatically mean it's a stereo recording?) :hmm:

You're probably right Mike. Nonetheless I think 48Hrs will still be a fantastic release and the sound samples I've heard confirm it!! (y)(y)
