On February 28, 1973, under the agreement, which was first initiated by RCA and arranged by Presley’s manager, “Colonel” Tom Parker, rights to Presley’s entire back catalogue of more than 1,000 recordings were purchased by RCA for just $5.4 million. That sentence describes the biggest business mistake Elvis and Parker ever made. It will be very hard for EPE to prove their theory in court since that was nearly 40 years ago. But, this isn't them gaining rights to the music. All it is is more revenue to the company.

Whatever they would possibly get from the lawsuit wouldn't go towards any upgrades or improvements. That's all being taken care of by CKX and Apollo.

I wonder what kind of impact this lawsuit could have of future releases by RCA/Sony?

Good question, it could effect European releases due to the Germany implication, however it doesn't seem that it would effect America?
