I recieved my copies of both the mrs cafe europa sessions set and guitar man. First off i just love the mrs cafe europa set what a great book all of these pics are beauts i'm sure seasoned fans will be plenty happy and surprised with this and the cds to. I can't believe that some fans are complaining abot the sound , it sounds excellent to these ol ears , i know they are not from the masters but every track sounds greeeeeeeeat it's a fine set and one all completist s should get.

GUITAR MAN - another winner i love outakes and listening to these great songs come together and hearing ELVIS having fun while doing so is great . Sure we have had some of these on boot here and there but it also includes takes we havn't heard , a great cd with a great set of tracks/sessions.

It's been sometime since I purchased an Elvis cd, sad I know.

Guess the last one I bought was Night Fever In Vegas, big fan of these summer 1974 shows and thought it was a great performance.

The sound quality is GREATLY improved over the previous versions of this show that have been released and the packaging is first rate!! A DEFINITE must have!!! (y)

Live In Vegas Aug 26, 1969 show, the sound was better than I would have thought it could be. first heard it on Elvis Only, I knew I would be buying it.

just bought Guitar Man........not listened to it yet, but I prefer studio work, love to hear how his music comes together, and the 'banter' inbetween songs

Just placed my order for the Walk A Mile In My Shoes boxset(y)

i've had it before but got destroyed, its a long story, word for the wise, keep your cd's away from crazy ex girlfriends ;)

This set is probably my favorite due to being a huge 1970's fan, so many goodies on it. And the booklet is very nice aswell.:notworthy

Afternoon in the Garden. The quality and performance were good. I just wish the sets would have changed up more than they did in the 70's. Its gets redundant sometimes.

Got these two Cd's this evening...I am so excited to take a listen !

So far have only listened to a few tracks of the '76 studio stuff from Graceland, and must say it sounds so crisp, very very happy!(y)

I've never heard from that You'll never Walk Alone release, but I do know that show is great (obviously, since it's july 1975). Too bad the sound (from that show isn't that great). The Venus' collection from the Jungle Room sessions is great and feature 3 or 4 volumes. Sound and content is wonderful.

Latest cd I've purchased is FTD's Guitar Man. Splendid release!

If you want to represent every concert tour with a single CD, the new YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE should be your choice for the July 1975 concert tour. Elvis is singing very well, presents a fine set list and the sound is very good, considering it's an off-line recording.

The latest additions to my Elvis collection are:
01) YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE
02) GI BLUES - THE CAFE EUROPA SESSION
03) WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE - HURT
04) GUITAR MAN
05) ON A JET TO THE PROMISED LAND

live in las vegas.....another powerhouse of a show.i prefer these raw shows, flaws and all, compared to the polished performer in 1970,although it goes without saying these were brill too.
