I was surprised to hear that there is a booklet with the LIVE IN LA FTD release.
Please can someone post some pics from it?
Thanks:D

Considering this CD originally came from a book, I guess it's not too surprising that the re-release is coming with a booklet with some of the pictures from the book. :hmm:
What I am more intrigued about is that, if the LIVE IN L.A. re-releases does indeed have a booklet, then it would appear that FTD is planning on including a booklet with all (or most) of its future 5-inch releases -- which, of course, is a wonderful thing in my opinion!!! (y)

Yes I love the '74 shows. The sound might be a shock to you (muddy), the trick if you have a 5th Generation ipod is to select treble boost when playing and then it's perfectly good.
Sllghtly better sound than I FOUND MY THRILL FTD for a comparison...

Thanks for the reply, I actually was really content with the IFMT FTD, as far as sound goes, it could be better but I'm just thankful we have these releases now, and enjoy them for what they are.

That is a FANTASTIC little booklet Dave!! (y)
Like Brad said, what a great way to capture some of the great photos for those who couldn't afford the book/CD set. I am so glad to see that FTD is apparently going to keep releasing these booklets with the 5-inch CD's...definitely adds a little something extra to them, in my opinion!! :D

Cheers Mike – FTD have done a great job making the release more affordable for those who didn't want the book.
Imho the version of "Steamroller Blues" on Live In L.A. is the best to date, just listen to those bluesy licks from JB – fantastic!

It certainly is a good way for those fans who couldn't afford the big book to get a glimpse of it, for sure!!

I have to agree that FTD really did a great job on the packing this time. A fantastic selection of pictures. Too bad the soundquality doesn't match this quality. Compared to other 1974 shows (like the one recorded in Memphis), this show is about average. So still a good purchase ;)
