Top 200 Albums - 'An Afternoon In The Garden' jumps to No.85 from No.123
Catalog Albums - 'An Afternoon In The Garden' jumps to No.8 from No.12

AAITG drops from 88 to 98 in this week's Billboard Top 200 Album Chart.

Think about this. June 1997 'An Afternoon in The Garden' is released and does not chart. Fast forward to 2011 of May and the album peaks at #85. While it's great for Elvis, something isn't right with that picture, pertaining to company marketing and promotional advertising.

'An Afternoon In The Garden' drops from 98 to 114 on this week's (w/e May 28th) Billboard Top 200 Album Charts and remains at 13 on the Catalog Album Charts. 'An Evening Prayer' jumps from 24 to 20 on the Christian Album Charts.

'An Afternoon In The Garden' drops from 114 to 131 on this week's (w/e June 4th) Billboard Top 200 Album Charts and drops from 13 to 15 on the Catalog Album Charts. 'An Evening Prayer' drops from 20 to 26 on the Christian Album Charts.

Think about this. June 1997 'An Afternoon in The Garden' is released and does not chart. Fast forward to 2011 of May and the album peaks at #85. While it's great for Elvis, something isn't right with that picture, pertaining to company marketing and promotional advertising.
I think the difference is that in 97 "An Afternoon in the Garden" was full price-I bought it for $10.97 but today its selling at Walmart for $5.00.
I do recall radio ads in 97 which advertised AAITG they spotlighted Elvis singing Blue Suede Shoes but do not recall many print ads for it.

'An Afternoon In The Garden' drops from 131 to 150 on this week's (w/e June 11th) Billboard Top 200 Album Charts and drops from 15 to 22 on the Catalog Album Charts.

'An Afternoon In The Garden' drops from 150 to 154 on this week's (w/e June 18th) Billboard Top 200 Album Charts and rises from 22 to 21 on the Catalog Album Charts.
