Best Elvis Magazine??

I was just reading about the new batch of Elvis magazines that have been released recently, which got me thinking... :hmm:

Which Elvis magazine do our TCB-World members feel is the BEST Elvis magazine being published today??

I've posted a poll along with this thread, so please vote for one of the 4 choices listed and if you choose OTHER please post the name of the magazine in your message, as I am curious what other Elvis magazines may be out there that I (or other members) are not familiar with!! ;)

There are several very cool looking magazines out there that I would LOVE to read, but unfortunately they aren't in English... :blush: (n)

Hopefully one of these days, some of those magazines will consider printing versions in English!! :hmm:

I have to admit that I miss reading those magazines though. But they're so out of date. The reviews are from cd's released months ago and news on importcd's is outdated by the internet.

Perhaps I'll try them again. I miss those good stories.

I agree completely about the reviews, but the articles in ESSENTIAL ELVIS, ELVIS UNLIMITED and MAN AND HIS MUSIC are indeed very good and I always learn something new about the person/people being interviewed. And as we've sadly discussed (and found out) here on the forum, many of the people that worked or personally knew Elvis are getting up there in years or have passed away, so it's nice to have these stories and memories printed in articles to read and re-read. ;)

Of course, that's just my humble little ol' opinion!! :D

The norwegian FLAMING STAR is the best magazine. A lot of rare pictures, GREAT quality.. (the only minus is the words are written in norwegian)

Actually, due to various circumstances, I had to let my Elvis magazine subscriptions go a couple years ago and I have really missed them, so I made it a point to re-subscribe to them this year. I just sent in my subscriptions for ELVIS UNLIMITED, ESSENTIAL ELVIS and MAN AND HIS MUSIC so hopefully they will start rolling in soon!!! (y)

Anyway, I have heard ESSENTIAL ELVIS did a re-vamp of the magazine so I am anxious to check it out, although I am disappointed that they dropped from 6 issues a year to 4... (n)

you wont be disappointed Mike, there may be 4 a year, but it is better for it.
