STANDING ROOM ONLY is a concept album created by the Follow That Dream (FTD) Collector's Label. Plans for a half live/half studio album entitled STANDING ROOM ONLY were on the table at RCA in early 1972, but were eventually shelved in favor of the ELVIS AS RECORDED LIVE AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN album in June, 1972. Taken from RCA's original notes, STANDING ROOM ONLY is FTD's interpretation of the album that never was.
