MYRNA SMITH UPDATE- As of Nov. 23

Myrna Smith Update:

Recent information from Carole Drexler. "On Nov. 23, Myrna was sent from dialysis to the hospital & will remain there for several days. Myrna was sent to the hospital because her blood pressure was very low. There is a problem with the stent in Myrna's arm where the dialysis machine connects & they must surgically correct it. Will keep you updated.
Myrna is still about the same, very weak, she sleeps a lot & not much interaction. We read her all the cards you send. Myrna wants everyone to know how much she appreciates your love & prayers, all the cards & gifts. Myrna received a large banner from the Elvis Cruise & a healing jade charm from New Zealand.
On Nov. 19 I found out the amount Myrna owed Canyon Oaks for November had been paid. I wanted to let you know about this latest development which shows that Prayers do work.

While I am happy to hear that Myrna is hanging in there, the fact that she sleeps most of the time and doesn't interact much with visitors is so sad...hopefully the holiday season will help to pull her out of this and start her down the road to recovery. (y)
