Okay I have e-mailed Graceland like I usually do and they tellme Elvis was american cherrokee indian, scot-irish, english, welch, and some jewish,,, so there you have it.:king::king::king:

:D Wow! Where I can find the Graceland email address? I wanna ask something too. I read that some realitves from his father´s side of the family tree once came from Germany. Didn´t the say anything about that?

Clearly, his nationality was American, as he was born in Tupelo, Mississippi and he was a citizen of the United States. As far as I know, many have traced his bloodline back to Scotland, England, France and Germany but of course, non of this is proven. What I believe is true is that he had Native American ancestry (Cherokee)...His maternal great-great-great (not sure how many "greats") grandmother was a Cherokee. The rest is left to be proven. Jewish, Irish, Welsh....help anybody? :blush: :unsure::helpsmili

Wish I could help but I used to think he looked native Indian, Italian and Irish but part of that is not correct. Vernon looks Scots but it was said that Gladys has some Jewish in her family...other than that I really don't know.

As far as I know, yes, there was a Cherokee woman in his maternal blood line, somehow around '68-71, when he was very thin and tanned, that came a little bit on the surface, his sharp angles, and the way his skin tanned. Or maybe I'm just crazy.

Gladys told Elvis that there where also Jewish blood on her side, that according to Guralnick.

About the Scottish, Irish or German, that still is on debate, as it had to do more about research on the origins of the Presley last name than of actually research on his own family origins, but yes, I mean americans came from somewhere right? so Scottish Irish is quite posible to me.
