Don't you move you big sob..
It's great.. sang along with it, just as I usually do while vacuum cleaning and such!
So good to see him in such good spirits.
Also seeing and hearing new footage or sound makes you deal with the unexpected - just the way Elvis liked it too.

Elvis really rocked hard in 1974. I really dig this year, which shows a way better Elvis than in 1973. His setlist also featured great R&R and R&B songs. Last year he was still slim and full of karate-kicking-spirit
By the way, from what CD is this show?

Wow! That's fantastic. Thanks so much for sharing it. He was so excellent on stage.
Looks to me like it could be Kansas City, June 29, 1974. I have a cd of that concert from the "A PROFILE THE KING ON STAGE" box set and in this concert he sings BLUE CHRISTMAS before I GOT A WOMAN. And I know he wore that outfit in Kansas City in '74.

Awesome clip, although I wish people would stop stretching stuff into a 16:9 aspect ratio when it wasn't shot that way. Makes people look shorter and wider. Kind of like when they used to do the reverse with wide-screen westerns on TV rather than letterbox 'em or do pan-and-scan.

I did some additional research, and I'm 99.9% sure you are correct Hitchie that this footage is from Kansas City June 29, 1974. (y)

Elvis humor at its height,, but breezing threw songs too fast,, not like when I saw him there. There was a show that made the Las Vegas Sun, , a mans wife was swooning so bad he jumped on the stage,,, body guards immediately but Elvis said no,,, ill take care of this and gave the guy e karate hit,, needless to say that was the end of that man and applause applause! !! For the King

As I was browsing the Elvis Australia site, I found out that this SPECTACULAR footage is available on the import DVD release "From Kansas City to Sin City". Here is the information for this DVD:
From Kansas City To Sin City is the title of first 'Victrola' label DVD release. This DVD is set for release on August 16, 2010. It includes both released and unreleased footage of Elvis in concert in Las Vegas 1973/74 and Kansas City 1974. The material includes matching soundboard audio whenever possible. All footage used for this project were digitally enhanced to achieve best possible picture quality. None of this rare 1973-74 film is marred by a disruptive logo, which would detract from your viewing pleasure.
Program:
• Kansas City, MO: Saturday, June 29, 1974 ES
• UK fans boarding plane bound for US, departing plane in US: August 1973
• European fans visit Tupelo's Mississippi-Alabama Fairgrounds and a cotton farm: August 1973

what you have just seen is the best film of all concert films on this release , don't be mislead in thinking that all the other films are in such great quality and close up. A great bit of film admitedly , but also misleading the claims that they made , that the dvd is also one of the greatest concert dvds ever. Better catch it while you can rumour has it the owner of the film is is going to block it on youtube and going after the people who put it out[it was first shown many years ago at a fan convention] it has bin circulating for years but not in this quality.
