Did anyone hear any elvis on the radio today? I haven't yet, and I think it's wrong that they don't do that anymore! I did hear some MJ though.?(n) Don't you think they should a least play some of his stuff?

In the U.K. BBC Radio 2 played Elvis song's on and off all morning, I have been told. Alot of talk about the event in Sept in Hyde Park to mark Elvis's 75th.
Elvis you have been part of my life since I was 10 (50 years ago) , thank you for the music, and all the happiness you brought me for all these years. Thank you for all my wonderful friends I have met through my love for you. Miss you xxx

The usual Elvis songs on the "oldies" channel, but on one station, there was a special Lunchtime Tribute. **sigh**
I expected more for the 75.

Really looking forward to the Elvis Forever concert in Hyde Park. Does anyone know for definate what time it opens? Some websites it is an all day event, but others say gates open 5:00pm for a 6:30 start! Also, does anyone know if we can take portable chairs into this event?
I just can't believe it... a great elvis concert in the UK!
