it is very clear - the timecode makes me think it's pro-shot too - but the camera work itself is a bit suspect being so jerky -

I wonder if it's from a news camera

MGM did shoot the MSG shows, but nothing was used in "On Tour"

That is my understanding also Mike, I believe it was an ABC camera crew who filmed thru "Polk Salad Annie"
would love to see all the footage.
Jonas Mekas an avant garde Indie filmaker also recorded with a 16mm camera at one of the MSG shows-how much is a mystery.
He won an award for the short film "Mozart and Elvis" a few years back that used some of his footage from the MSG show.
